Introduction
On this link, I will be giving you around 20 free spicy recipes which are all healthy.
Firstly there is something you need to know about spice and that it is not all hot. For example paprika, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, cumin, cloves are not hot but they are still spices. Spices have been used as medicine along with herbs for centuries around the world.
Herbs have been common in Europe for centuries but many spices have been introduced from the East after the second world war.
Curry is now at the top of the most popular dishes. There are a wide variety of curries and this part of the recipes will give you some.
Usual recipes may contain more cream and fat than my recipes but they all taste great and tested by many.
See the cooky people. Many people from different backgrounds have all enjoyed the meals including African, Jamaican, Asian and Eastern block people.
So this link may give you something a little spicy, but also something healthy too.
Curry is not just popular it is an extremely healthy dish if the correct ingredients are used.

Thai Chicken And Banana soup 4 People
Ingredients : 1 hand full of cooked chopped chicken or raw.1 small tin of sweetcorn,2 eggs,2 dessert spoons of cornflour,1 large onion,salt,pepper,3 chicken stock cubes,1 handful of grated coconut or dessicated.A small handful of chopped coriander,1 and a half fresh red chillis.2 pints of water,2 chopped bananas
Method : Peel and finely chop the onion and chillis.Put in the water in a pan and simmer for 15 minutes.Add all the ingredients except the eggs and the cornflour, and cook for another 10 mins. .Mix the cornflour with a little cold water until dissolved.Separate the yolk from the whites with the eggs and whisk the whites into the soup,stir in the cornflour mix.If you like it thicker add a little more.If you want to give it a creamy look add a little milk at the end.You are ready to serve.Keep the yolks and use for another meal.

Hot And Sour Soup 4 Persons
Ingredients : 2 dessert spoons of tomato puree,2 pints of water,2 dessert spoons of vinegar,2 chillis,1 red pepper,3 vegetable stock cubes,2 dessert spoons of cornflour.2 cloves of garlic,sprinkle of 5 spice.2 dessert spoons of sugar.
Method : Put the two pints of water in the pan and add the finely chopped pepper and garlic.Then add all the other ingredients except the cornflour.Simmer for half an hour.Mix the cornflour in a cup with cold water until dissolved.Then add to the soup,bring to the boil and then you are ready to serve.
This is a great winter warmer,and fantastic for colds.

Spicy bean soup 4 Persons
Ingredients:1 onion,2 vegetable stock cubes,half a small tin kidney beans,half a small tin of baked beans,2 heaped dessert spoons of tomato puree,salt and pepper,1 tin of finely chopped tomatoes,two pints of water,2 finger chillis,cornflour.
Method : Peel and finely chop the onion and two fresh chillis.Put in the water and simmer in a pan for 15 minutes.Add everything else and simmer a further 15 minutes.If it needs to be thickened mix a little cornflour with cold water and thicken by mixing in.Remember if it has reduced you will need to have added a little more water to bring it back to two pints for 4 people.This will be spicy,if you don,t like it too spicy try one less chilli or half a chilli.A great winter warmer

Soya Chilli And Rice
Ingredients : 1 lb minced soya, 1 large onion, 2 chillis,2 beef stock cubes, 3 cloves of garlic,half a pint of water, 1 tin of plum tomatoes, half a teaspoon of cinnamon, 3 dessert spoons of tomato puree, 3 dessert spoons of plain flour, 1 tin of kidney beans. (peppers, mushrooms optional.) 1 lb of long grain rice,salt.pepper.
Method : Put the long grain rice in about 3 pints of boiling water, this will take about 10 - 15 minutes to cook.Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic,then top and tail the chillis and finely chop with the seeds if you like it hotter.Simmer in the half pint of water for 10 minutes.then add the chopped tinned tomatoes or fresh,stock cubes,cinnamon,tomato purée crumbled stock cubes,washed kidney beans and a little salt and pepper,then the soya mince. Then whisk the flour and cold water in a bowl until smooth. The chilli will simmer for 15 minutes, then stir in some of the flour/water mix to make the sauce thicker.Cook a further 5 minutes.Drain the rice after it is light and fluffy. Enjoy a vegetarian version.
Method : Put the long grain rice in about 3 pints of boiling water, this will take about 10 - 15 minutes to cook.Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic,then top and tail the chillis and finely chop with the seeds if you like it hotter.Simmer in the half pint of water for 10 minutes.then add the chopped tinned tomatoes or fresh,stock cubes,cinnamon,tomato purée crumbled stock cubes,washed kidney beans and a little salt and pepper,then the soya mince. Carribean Chicken
Ingredients : 3 dessert spoons of plain flour,2 dessert spoons of curry powder,1 crumbled chicken stock cube,salt,pepper,1 teaspoon of ground mixed spice,oil.1 teaspoon of chilli powder (optional if you like it hot)
Method : Cut chickens into portions like drumsticks and thighs.Mix all of the dry ingredients together.Take the skin off all of the chicken.Rub each piece of chicken in a little oil.Press the chicken through the dry marinade mix.Put the chicken on a baking tray and repeat the process until all the mix has gone.Cover and put in the refridgerater over night at the bottom of the fridge covered..The net day bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 170 degrees centigrade or gas mark 6 until the chicken is cooked and has a nice colour.

Chicken Jalfrezi
Ingredients : 1 x3lb chicken,1 onion,1 tin or 1 mug of tinned tomatoes,1 red pepper,1 green pepper,2 cloves of garlic,2 finger chillis,3 dessert spoons of curry powder,salt pepper,3 chicken stock cubes,1 handful of dessicated coconut or half a coconut block,1 dessert spoon of tomato puree,1 small tin of peaches.3 mugs of long grain rice,water.a small bunch of coriander,1 teaspoon of ground mixed spice.2 heaped dessert spoons of cornflour.
Method : Cut up the chicken like on cooky techniques.Portion,skin and dice. Prepare any vegetables by peeling,trimming and washing then chopping roughly.Keep it chunky.Put all the ingredients in a pan except the diced chicken and cornflour with half a pint of water.Bring to the boil,stir and simmer for 10 minutes.Add the chicken and another half pint of water.Simmer another 10 minutes.Add the cornflour mixed with a little cold water until dissolved.This will thicken the curry.Add more if needed.Cook another 5 minutes and the curry will be ready.The rice will take 15 minutes to cook in 2 pints of boiling water.Do this while making the curry.Garnish with some nice leafy coriander chopped for colour.

Ingredients :1 medium tin of washed kidney beans,1 mug of cooked mixed vegetables,2 dessert spoons of curry powder,salt,pepper,2 mugs of boiled rice.Fresh herbs chopped.
Method ; Mix all the ingredients together to get a nice spicy rice salad.This can also be served hot and fruit can be added if you want to vary it.The rice is cooked in boiling water for 10 - 15 minutes and then drained and cooled under cold running water before it is mixed.Great with salads or buffets,vegans and vegetarians.

Peppery Mushroom Strogonoff
Ingredients :1 large onion,2 cloves of garlic,1 small tin of plum tomatoes,half pint of full fat milk,1lb mushrooms,parsley,salt, pepper mill or ground pepper corns,3 vegetable stock cubes,half a teaspoon of English mustard. 2 dessert spoons of cornflour,a little cold water.
Method : Peel and chop the onions and garlic.Wash and chop the parsley and wash and half the mushrooms. Put a little water in a pan with the garlic and onions and cook 10 minutes on a medium light.Then add the milk,mushrooms,mustard,crumbled stock cubes,some parsley,little salt,peppercorns to your liking(remember they are spicy)drained chopped tomatoes.Simmer 5 - 10 minutes.Mix the cornflour with a little cold water and stir in the strogonoff. Cook a further 5 minutes. Serve with rice if you like,cooked as above.

Sweet And Sour Chicken
Ingredients : 1 medium tin of tomatoes,2 cloves of garlic chopped 1 onion chopped,1 small tin of pineapple,3 dessert spoons of tomato puree, 2 dessert spoons of sugar,a good splash of vinegar ,1lb of diced chicken,1 red pepper,1 green pepper,2 chicken stock cubes,a small bunch of parsley,1 grated carrot,1 heaped dessert spoon of grated ginger,1 heaped teaspoon of ground mixed spice.2 dessert spoons of cornflour,1 pint of water.
Method : Peel and chop the garlic and onion,peppers and parsley etc. Put all of the ingredients in a pan including the flavourings,with the exception of the cornflour.simmer for 20 minutes.Then add the cornflour mixed with a little cold water and simmer a further 5 minutes.It is now ready. Serve with rice or in pancakes or wraps.

Tandoori Marinade
Ingredients : 2 teaspoons of paprika,2 teaspoons of curry powder, 1 pint of natural yoghurt,salt,pepper,a little beetroot juice,skinless chicken pieces 8 - 12,2 dessert spoons of tomato puree.
Method : Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl with a wooden or plastic spoon except the chicken. Score all of the chicken and then run it through the marinade.Put the pieces of chicken on an oven tray and bake for around 20 minutes at about 190 degrees centigrade.
serve with curry sauce,rice or salad. Cut the pieces of chicken smaller and you get a lovely chicken tikka,great for kebabs or pitta bread. Have fun,you can also use lamb.

Method : Cut up the chicken and dice the meat. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.Top and tail the chillis and finely chop.Chop the peaches and the pepper.Put all of the ingredients except the flour in a pan stir,bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes.Mix the flour and a little water together,stir in to thicken and simmer a further 5 minutes.
Serve with rice or like on the picture in jacket potatoes.Also enjoy it with salad.

Method : Put all of the ingredients in a pan with half a pint of water and simmer for 15 minutes.Cool then blend.Put in the refridgerator and use the next day

Spicy Kebabs And Salad
Ingredients : Half a lettuce,half cucumber,2 tomatoes,1 pepper,coriander,1 lb mince beef,2 cloves of garlic,1 onion,chilli sauce,1 egg,1 small handful of breadcrumbs. Pitta bread..,salt,pepper.
Method : To make the kebabs - mix the mince,1 egg,breadcrumbs,salt,pepper,chopped coriander,garlic and onion together.Make small sausages and put on a baking tray.Cook in the oven for 20 minutes at 170 degrees centigrade or gas mark 5.Trim,chop and wash the salad.Warm the pitta bread and cut off the tops and open.Add the kebab first then some chilli sauce and salad on top.Enjoy an easy

Spicy wraps
Ingredients : Washed chopped salad, left over tuna mayonnaise,curry chilli etc Wraps.
Method : Heat up the chilli or curry as required,put a little at one end of the wrap with some chopped washed salad.Roll up and fold the bottom to eat.Add some chilli sauce for more spiciness.

Spicy French Bread Pizza
Ingredients : Half a french stick,1 tin of baked beans,1 onion,1 handfull of grated cheese,coriander,2 chillis,salt,pepper,1 pepper.
Method : Cut the french stick in half and then in half again lengthways.press the middle in and spread some baked beans on.Add chopped onion and chopped chillis,salt,pepper then chopped peppers and finish with some grated cheese sprinkled over.Bake in the oven 10 minutes until crispy and light golden brown.Garnish with coriander.Enjoy with salad watching football or a movie.

Ingredients : 1lb of minced beef,6 cloves of garlic,2 onions,fresh parsley,salt,pepper,1 bag of penne pasta,mixed herbs,3 chillis,a little cinnamon,3 slices of bread,2 eggs,1 dessert spoon of tomato puree,2 tins of chopped tomatoes.1 vegetable stock cube,1 dessert spoon of cornflour,a little cold water.
Method : Finely chop the onion,garlic,chillis and washed parsley.Put the mince in a bowl and add half the onion,chilli and garlic and parsley.Mix in the mince grated bread into breadcrumbs,mixed herbs,salt and pepper and the eggs.Knead into a big ball,then roll into mini golf balls,put on a tray and bake in the oven 180 degrees centigrade for 10 - 15 minutes.Put the other ingredients in a pan with the tomatoes and tomato puree except the pasta.Simmer 15 minutes and then thicken with the cornflour mixed with the cold water.Cook a further 5 minutes and blend if you like it smooth.I like it coarse.While this is cooking you will have about 3 pints of water boiling in another pan add the pasta, stir and cook for 10 - 15 minutes and then drain. Your pasta is now ready,so is your sauce and your spicy meatballs.Two per portion should be enough,with about a mug full of pasta and a ladle of spicy tomato sauce. Enjoy this meal you spicy meatball.

Cut up the chicken into pieces removing any skin and bone and then dice. Chop the chillis coriander, peaches and tomatoes. Then boil the onions and garlic,curry powder and chillis in the mug of watermfor 5 - 10 minutes. Add all of the other ingredients except the cornflour and cook a further 15 minutes simmering. Put all of the ingredients in a pan and simmer for 20 minutes and it should be cooked just nice If it needs to be thickened use a little cornflour and water mix. Garnich with a little parsley or coriander if you like.

Ingredients : 1 lb of minced beef,2 medium tins of tomatoes,2 cloves of garlic,2 chillis,2 dessert spoons of tomato puree,1 teaspoon of ground mixed spice,1 medium tin of kidney beans,2 dessert spoons of cornflour,1 large onion,1 pint of water,salt,pepper,3 beef stock cubes.Optional 1 green or red pepper,mushrooms.
Method : Peel and chop any vegetables.Open the tins and wash the kidney beans.Put all of the ingredients in a pan and bring to the boil stirring.Then simmer for 20 minutes.Add the cornflour mixed with a little cold water to thicken.Boiled.Rice takes 10 - 15 minutes cooked in boiling water.Three mugs of rice will be good for 4 people.

Vegetable pumpkin Curry
Ingredients : 1 tin of tomatoes,2 potatoes, 1 mug of diced pumpkin half a tin of peaches,2 dessert spoons of curry powder,2 cloves of garlic,1 large onion,half a tin of kidney beans,1 large carrot,1 pepper,2 vegetable stock cubes,1 large dessert spoon of tomato puree, 1 large dessert spoon of gated or dessicated coconut,salt,pepper,2 chillis,1 pint of water.
Method : Peel, wash and dice the potatoes and carrot. Then peel and chop the onions and garlic. Then chop the peaches and the chilli's. Put the curry powder,onion,garlic and chilli's in a pan and boil in the pint of water for 5 minutes. Then add all of the other ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. If you need to thicken it add a little cornflour and water near the end. Enjoy this with rice or pitta bread, maybe salad.

Spicy Sheesh Kebab In Pitta Bread
Ingredients : 1lb mince beef,3 slices of bread,parsley,salt,pepper,1 onion,3 cloves of garlic,1 chilli,1 teaspoon of curry powder,1 teaspoon of five spice,lettuce,2 tomatoes,1 cucumber,2 eggs.
Method : Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Wash and chop all of the salad. Put the mince in a bowl, crack the eggs and add them,add chopped garlic,onion,parsley,five spice,salt,pepper,chopped chilli and the bread squeezed and grated. Mix together in a bowl,squeeze together and make sausage shape pieces. put on an oven tray and cook 10 - 15 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade.
Take some pitta bread and warm it then trim off the top.Open it and add the salad,then the cooked kebab and some chilli sauce. Enjoy this my kids love it,the chilli sauce is on this link.

Chicken Madras ( Hot) 4 Portions
Ingredients : 1 x 3lb chicken, 1 red pepper, 1 green pepper, 3 cloves of garlic, 2 cmions, salt, pepper, 2 dessert spoons of tomato puree, 2 dessert spoons of mild curry powder, 2 tins of plum tomatoes, 1 tin or 1 mug full of peaches, a small hand full of coriander, 1 teaspoon of ground mixed spice, 2 dessert spoons of plain flour, 1 pint of water, 3 mugs full of long grain easy cook rice.4 - 6 sun dried finger chillis or 1 scotch bonnet chilli, 3 chicken stock cubes, a quarter of a block of creamed coconut, or 2 dessert spoons of dessicated coconut.

Drain the rice when cooked. The curry is now ready to serve. I make a well in the middle of the rice and then put the curry in it. Enjoy it is lovely,I feel like some curry now!! Ingredients : 2 chillis, 2 carrots, a quarter of a small cabbage, 3 vegetable stock cubes, salt, pepper, 2 medium dessert spoons of curry powder, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 heaped dessert spoon of tomato puree, 2 tins of plum tomatoes, half a tin of peaches, a mug full of sprouts, 2 potatoes,5 shallots,1 onions, half a celery,1 red pepper, 1 green pepper, 1 pint of water, (mushrooms optional).
