A Course Tomato Sauce 4 portions
Ingredients : 1 onion,2 cloves of garlic,fresh basil,2 vegetable stock cubes,3 dessert spoons of tomato puree,1 tin plum tomatoes.1 pint of cold water,2 dessert spoons of cornflour,salt and pepper.
Method : Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.Wash and chop the basil,put in a large saucepan and add the water,stock cubes,salt and pepper,simmer for 10 mins then add the tinned tomatoes chopped and the tomato puree.After half an hour mix the cornflour in a cup with a little cold water and stir in sauce to thicken.This is a very low to no fat sauce that is healthy and perfect for a vegan served with pasta or fish.Gluten free people check the stock cubes but otherwise good. Why not add chillies in the cooking of the sauce, to make it spicy.

Ingredients : 1 x Half a pint of natural yoghurt,1 dessert spoon of paprika,half a teaspoon of chilli powder,salt and pepper,1 crumbled chicken stock cube,3 dessert spoons of beetroot juice,or a few drops of red food dye,2 dessert spoons of mild curry powder.
Method : Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl or baking tray and coat your chicken pieces well after scoring the meat.
(The skin must be taken off first)Coat all of your meat,clingfilm and put in the refridgerater over night.
This will let the flavours marinade the meat.It is ready to bake then the next day

Curry Sauce 4 Portions
Ingredients: : 1 onion,2 cloves of garlic,1 dessert spoon of tomato puree,1 pint of cold water,2 vegetable stock cubes,2 chillis,1 small tin of plum tomatoes,half of a cup of tinned peaches.3 dessert spoons of mild curry powder.A small sprig of coriander.2 dessert spoons of cornflour,salt and pepper.

Ingredients :1 heaped dessert spoon of Ketchup or tomato puree,salt pepper,Half a pint of olive oil,2 dessert spoons of tomato ketchup,2 eggs.
Method : Whisk the two eggs in a plastic bowl, until the eggs go white. Then slowly add the vegetable oil or (olive oil) a little at a time, if you like.As the mix thickens. It should now look like mayonnaise. add the salt and pepper and a spoon of tomato puree for the marie rose. Remember when you have made the mayonnaise you only need about a quarter of the mayonnaise for the marie rose sauce. Other sauces can be made from the rest of the mix.
Keep in the refridgerator for no longer than 4 days

Method : Break the bones and boil in the water for 5-10 minutes.Strain off properly just getting the liquid in another pan.Add the peeled finely chopped onion to the fish water.Then add some washed chopped parsley,milk,salt pepper,and stock cubes.Whisk the flour with half a small cup of water until smooth.After 5-10 minutes stir in this mix to thicken your sauce.

Of coarse this is an unhealthy way to cook and one which I do not promote. But in moderation it should be ok once a week maybe. Beware as many establishments only use this method.

Ingredients : 2 dessert spoons of mild curry powder,1 green chilli,2 vegetable stock cubes,A quarter of a coconut cream block,1 onion,A dessert spoon of chopped coriander,salt,pepper,1 grated zest of lime,1 lime,1 teaspoon of sugar.1 pint of water,2 dessert spoons of cornflour,2 cloves of garlic.

Ingredients :1 tin of tomatoes,1 dessert spoon of tomato puree,2 beef stock cubes,1 teaspoon of mixed herbs,salt,pepper,1 teaspoon of gravy browning,1 pint of water,2 heaped dessert spoons of plain flour.1 teaspoon of English mustard,1 onion. Half pound of lambs liver.
Method : Peel and finely chop the onion. Cut the liver up small and put through seasoned flour. Put the onions in a pan with the water and bring to the boil. Add the liver a bit at a time. Then mix in all the other ingredients except the flour, just a little splash of gravy browning. Simmer for 20 minutes.The flour on the liver should thicken it but if not add a little cornflour mix or flour with water.
